My copy of the game runs fine I can load the game and play, but as soon as I die or try to load a save within the game it crashes everytime. Has anyone ran into this problem and if so have you found a solution?

My specs:

Win7 64-bit, ATI Radeon HD 5700, AMD Phenom II X6 (six core) 2.80ghz, and of course I'm using the GOG version of this game.

Have you managed to solve the problem?

I have the same problem but it seems to only occur in the dam level.

I have the steam version (may not have been available on GOG at the time I purchased it. Normally I prefer purchasing games from GOG) but I have the same video card and I'm using Windows 7 64-bit too.

It's hard to troubleshoot the problem in the game since the technical issue is vary and random. My best bet it has to do with your six cores and ATi video card. Maybe compatibility issue. Hopefully the upcoming HD patch will fix this issue once and for all.

I didn't have far to go and I ended up just quitting to the menu and loading the game from there. If I decide to replay the game on a harder difficulty (I finished on easy) I might need to do something about it or wait until an update.
