(third to last question)
"other digital distribution outlets" = GOG?
Awesome!
Great interview, thanks for the link!
Thank you indeed, DeadDove. It looks like this Christmas is going to rock! Oddworld is awesome.
I'd rather buy the Oddbox on gog.com than on steam ... But we'll see.
God I miss Stranger's Wrath. That was an awesome game!
Great! I really want to play Stranger's Wrath! Not sure about Munch's Oddysee though, that game didn't look too great really.
I have always wanted to play Munch's Oddysee, never had the chance. Don't want to buy an old Xbox either.
Can't wait to get my hands on this!
I really hope the oddbox comes on here. Thanks for the link, it's got me all tingly and excited :P
I too wish very much to see MO and SW here. As a huge Oddworld Inhabitants fan I bought an Xbox just for these two games, finished them both and loved them. Still have the original disks although the ugly noisy black console is already dead. My only concern now is that I'm not sure they are going to be released through GOG. Hopefully they are, because I am willing to pay any amount of money for a chance to play these on a PC and don't really like buying DRM crippled games from Steam.
Heard about this game when it came out, but never played it. Now that it is released on GOG and appears to have an all encompassing version to be released on the horizon I'm giving it a very serious look.
Oddbox still coming, I was getting desperate: http://www.oddworldforums.net/showthread.php?t=19085

I prefer Stranger's Warth, but Much's Oddysee is a better game for Oddworld purists. It plays just like how you'd imagine a 3D version of Abe's Exoddus would. There are some additions, like being able to resurrect Mudokons and collecting spuce for no good reason, but it's still about solving environmental puzzles and trying to get out alive with all your friends.

Now the questions is: Do I get it on Steam, or wait for it to come out on GOG?
Maybe that's GOG's big surprise for Dec 14 :D
According to www.oddworld.com:
"The games will be released on Steam on the 20th of December, 2010.
IGN D2D, Stardock, Amazon, GamersGate and more, soon-to-be-announced retail download services, will also release Oddboxx, close to this release date."
"Prices are as follows:
Stranger’s Wrath: £11.99 €14.99 $14.99
Munch’s Oddysee: £6.99 €9.99 $9.99"

$9.99 for Munch's Oddysee sounds promising...
