mk1320: I don't see really what changes, I paid full freight for the original surely that's worth something. I dare say, the original is probably now going to be abandoned by the dev in it's current buggy state.

It was a preorder offer, the same offer was given to those players who own the game on EpicGames.
It's a decision made by the publisher, not GOG.

The original was abandoned a long time ago, the new rights owner never released any patches. There is a unofficial fan patch however.

I didn't receive a newsletter, and on the game page the discount was nowhere to be seen. And I've only seen the page on the November 10th, which is what, release date? If there was a discount, GOG did a great job for people to not know about it.

Seconded, it's been on my wishlist but I never picked it up. Really disappointed to find out it's Windows-only now. I'd be happy enough with the ability to still buy the old version.
