I've tried, watched many versions of video walkthroughs. Resorted to several written walkthroughs. Seems like most gamers claiming to have finished the game might have, very few though. I have played all Myst and related games that were quite easy compared to Obduction. Why is it when a good running game developer just has to ruin it by making it super confusing? Obduction is NOT for me.

Baldur's Gate 3, when ready, is another iffy.

A really great functioning game and great looking does not always give much enjoyment and I think the developers intend it to be that way. I could just as easily go out and pay someone to insult me.

Update:
I have been doing fairly well and will change it to confusing. It partly depends on whether or not you read everything and just go everywhere. Here is something as a last resort:

What is hard about it?
Are the puzzles stupid?
Some of the puzzles are incredibly tedious since they require you to switch between worlds with annoying loading screens, long unskippable animations and really long walks through empty regions that only exist to show off the graphics and pad out the playing time.

One of the worst offenders is the maze puzzle which isn't hard but extremely tedious. And the four teleporter switcharoo before it.

I've completed the game this week and then started playing Quern – similar theme, same genre, but levels of user-friendliness between them. Obduction does not respect the players. Quern does, although it has one tedious puzzle (but still not as bad) as well.
