pretty disappointed, im trying to find the sweet spot of graphic quality vs performance but so far unless I go pretty much med to low the game stutters. It looks terrible at those settings, old myst looked much better for goodness sake, extremely blurry as well even when I sample at epic settings

no idea why,

Radeon Software Version - 15.11
Radeon Software Edition - Crimson
Graphics Chipset - AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
Memory Size - 1024 MB
Memory Type - GDDR5
Core Clock - 1000 MHz
Windows Version - Windows 7 (Service Pack 1)
System Memory - 16 GB
CPU Type - AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor

is it the card ? any ideas to improve performance?

any ideas?

It is the card. You would need to upgrade the card to have a better experience with higher settings.
thanks for the reply, i think ive found an ok setting to run it, shame I cant make use of the best settings. I also found out that the stuttering lessened if I restarted the game after making my graphical selections, rather than proceeding straight on.
UE4 doesn't play nice with cards with only 1 gigabyte of memory. Even at lower resolutions, you would usually want at least 2GBs.
