Did this game ever get patched here? I would like to check it out, but not here if it is still abandoned.

This game has never been updated on GOG.

Right now, the downloadable file has the same version than it had during the GOG launch day.

Good to know. That's unconscionable. I just picked it up for Steam in a Humble Bundle. I don't understand why GOG can't lean on developers more. I'd be really upset if I had bought it here.

They have been doing that with more recent releases, but it's still frustrating to see a good game like Nuclear Throne not get updated at all.
The plan was to finish fixing all the bugs and then release updates for all platforms, but clearly that's not happening. It's been over a year since u99 (which wasn't even the developers' work) came out, there were barely any bugs left at the time, and yet there still aren't any news regarding the promised update.

It's unfortunate but it appears that this game will never come to GOG, at least not in buyable form.
This is really bad. It is June 2019 now and I just checked my Humble Account (got it there years ago) and it is still on the same old buggy state. This sucks. Same is probably here. Well, there is a Steam key along with the Humble Bundle but seriously, this is not the intended way. I don't want to buy something in some DRM-free version/store and then still have to have Steam just to receive really mandatory updates.
Developer now cries over GOG's 30 day refund system, says it'll hurt him.

LMAO
