Yep. Here's what I did:

Ran the installer as admin
Installed to a location outside Programs or Programs (x86) (it's actually on a separate drive, my Games drive, which is drive E)
Run the game as Admin

Right-click the desktop shortcut to the game and check the Compatibility tab. Mine is set to run the program in Windows 98/Windows ME mode and under Settings there is a check in the box beside 'Disable Visual Themes' as well as 'Disable desktop composition'.

My rig:

Core i7 920
GTX 560Ti
6 GB RAM
Win7 Pro 64 bit.

I've played it for two or three hours so far without issues.

I tried what you've said here. I've still got nothing. I can post a picture if necessary. I really want to play this game.

It's probably not of much help, but all I can say is that I am playing it right now (already in chapter 6) on Win7 x64 without any problems whatsoever (just did a plain GOG installation without anything special).

One thing I might note is that my Windows UAC settings are at "never notify" (it might affect the installation, perhaps).

I did some of my own messing around. I got it to work. Never locks up. Plays just fine. On chapter 8 with my warrior. Very pleased.

Hi. I cant get my game to run in fullscreen mode. I'm having a problem with graphics flickering. Tried to run it in windowed and it works, but i would like to run it in fullscreen. I was wondering how you got it to work?

I am running Windows 7 64bit and Nox crashed at startup so I disabled compatibility mode I can play it now.

You could try that to see if it works for you.

I figured out that my grapics card ist the problem.
I got an geforce GT 540M

and i never got it running

on my other machine i have an geforce 460 and nox is running without any errors...

maybe this is a little help

If you are running the game by laptop with additional graphic card, turn off that to use integrated one.
