I'm thinking of picking this up, however, co-op is a big plus for me. Does Nox Quest let you play through the main campaign co-op or just extra mission? Also, if it is just extra missions, can you use a character from a solo campaign in the missions?
This question / problem has been solved by KingOfDustimage
Solo campaign is only available solo, and the characters are separate. They're completely different things really. The "Quest" mode has you fighting through some areas (chosen randomly from a pool of available areas) that increase in difficulty as you go. No story whatsoever.

The original "campaign" mode has you go through a storyline which varies depending on the class you choose. Honestly co-op wouldn't really make sense for that one, because of the way the story works.

Not being able to use the campaign character is no big deal either. Nox isn't really an RPG. It's almost a pure action game. There's levels but they don't do much, you never assign stats or anything. The only choices you make regarding your character are what class to play and what equipment to use. Well, you can change his skin/hair color and stuff too I guess.
Alright, thanks for the info! Although not getting to use a character across all game types is kind of a let down I still think I'll pick this up!

I agree with all of this, a co-op mode wouldn't really work in the solo campaign. If there was one, both players would have to play the same class and that would be pretty dull. Nox is much more of a fast twitch action game than something like Diablo, and I don't think the play mechanics would work well in campaign mode. Still, this is a lot of fun to be had for $5.99. I finished the game twice a long time ago, and I am going to buy it so I can revisit it and finish the game as a conjurer.

This is already discussed in several other threads, I guess the simplest fix is to run the game in Win98 compatibility mode. You can look around in the other threads for alternatives.
Hi people!! anybody please help! I love this game its a clasic. The problem is that I was able to play this game before I upgraded to windows ten now i cant play it. It loads and stuff but once it gets to the main screen with the options of loading previous saved games, multiplayer, and settings. The game keeps blinking on my screen I can see my mouse but i cant see where its going the mouse cursor stays where its at i can still click and hear the sound when you click the mouse on one of those options you know the unique sund you hear when you click. So I have and idea that it might be that this game is not supported on Windows ten or IDK. PLEASE HELP!!!
