I just wish I could download the music in best quality without having to go through the hassle of downloading the game (which doesn't work for me. I know there's any external way to do it but that would require time) and digging up the sound files. It's really unfortunate they didn't include the soundtrack. That is the biggest part of my childhood. So I can stick it on my phone. :(
Hello, I am not sure if this is the right place to post this. I am running this game on Linux. I have encountered a critical bug. In chapter 7, during the fight between Horvath and Hecubah, Horvath is supposed to die, but the script does not trigger. It runs in an infinite loop where they are firing lighting bolts at each other. I can't do anything since this is a scripted cutscene so the controls don't work. Is there any fix for this?

If you explore the game files there is a "Music" folder with all the games' songs

tekhedd: Works beautifully for me. Windows 10 Pro, fairly dated audio and an old GTX970.

Nettacki01: I don't think OpenNox is detecting my install of Nox. Every time I try to run it, it fails to detect the install and immediately closes.

tekhedd: I had the same difficulty getting it to find the installation--what worked for me was to make a shortcut *in* the Nox directory that pointed to the OpenNox executable. With my game in d:\games\nox and OpenNox in d:\games\opennox,

Target: d:\games\opennox\opennox-hd.exe
Start in: d:\games\nox

I am running in 1280x720, sound and works great.

The only minor problem is it does have the "high speed color cycling" highlight circles, common to high refresh rates. I hope this may eventually get tuned out by faking the refresh rate in future updates.
Interesting, I didn't try that!
In the end, for me, even though it says you don't need to, shouldn't have to and maybe even actively advises you not to, the only way I could get OpenNox to work was to copy all of the OpenNox files into the root folder of my my regular Nox installation path and just run it from there!

*edit*
I have also now renamed the old Nox.exe to 'NoxOriginal' and OpenNox_HD.exe to Nox.exe so that GOG Galaxy now launches OpenNox itelf without having to use a seperrate shortcut outside of Galaxy
