Hi, I recently bought Nox for my girlfriend's mac. It installed on download and played correctly for about an hour. The next morning however, the game began to display corrupted flickering graphics upon loading.

The game runs in the background, sound is unaffected, but the screen is just filled with random visual trash comprised from chunks of her desktop icons. The lower half of the screen is less affected and you can see the frame visibly redraw every so often.

Tried some very basic troubleshooting: restarted computer, turned off all background applications, and toggled all visual settings.

Edit: Semi-solution

Command +Tabbing out of the game sends it a small window where the graphic problems stop. Unfortunately the window is so small the game is still difficult to play. Still looking for help.

Which mac does she have? If it has two graphics cards (15" MacBook Pro), you might try disabling automated graphics switching in Energy Saver System Preferences to force the use of the dedicated card.

Also make sure you're running the latest version of OS X - they're updating the graphics drivers a lot these days, 10.9.3 Mavericks changed a bunch of things.
