I had problems with sound stuttering in game and also a flickering mouse cursor. I found that if you run Game.exe instead of NOX.EXE it resolves both issues. Might be worth a look if you have these issues. Good luck all!

It looks like NOX.EXE runs some sort of SoundBlaster compatibility parameter of some sort... that clearly doesn't work for everyone.

Doesn't work for me. Still getting obnoxios sound repeating whenever I cast a spell or use an ability. Story dialog when first loading in stutters too but thankfully mostly sounds normal otherwise.

Anyone tried anything else? Hearing "D-Do-Done!" Everytime I cast a fireball is driving me nuts. Am on Vista, tried a few compatability modes with no luck.

Using Game.exe instead of Nox.exe solved my issue. Thanks! Users that this didn't work for them might want to try updating their sound card drivers.
