first of all when i install the game, norton autoprotect automatically removes a file saying its malware. (heur.adv.mlb)

2nd, when i run the game (nosshell application) i can access the windowed main game splash screen, with settings, play, quit, help.

when i click play the big IDOL appears on screen in windowed mode, ... then the game just quits.

i downloaded the resolution fix & have a nosferatu application file, for what i hope is my screen resolution, in the game directory. (1920x1080)

what else do i need to do to get this to run.?

edit = ok, i rebooted & disabled norton autoprotect, verified files. it turns out autoprotect was removing nosferatu.exe each time (the little crucifix icon) which is why the game was only doing the nosshell application.

at least ive gotten that much figured out.
