I have seen comments that DLCs do nothing for single player campaigns, and are only for multiplayer and skirmish. Then I have seen messages that multiplayer does not work. So, what do the DLCs add to the game? I was thinking about buying all 5 of them. Has anyone else played with the DLCs for this game?

The DLCs are additional clans for you to play in skirmish against AI or in multiplayer against/with other players. They don't add to the story campaign.

I bought Northgard at release and didn't bother with DLCs for a long time after. I'd rather learn the clans available and then slowly expand as I want to learn the new ones.
Thanks for the input. The game with all DLCs is only $25.46 right now ($2.24 for most DLCs, one is $3.01). Sounds like the game would be fun, and i do typically play alone, so if I can use the DLCs when playing alone, then I should probably get them while they are on sale... what the heck, I'll go ahead and grab it.
