This may make the music better as well.
setting machine=tandy in dosbox_staging let's you have tandy video graphics and maybe better audio. I don't think the dosbox version included works with this setting though.

This version doesn't seem to support Tandy, but the box cover I saw on ebay for a floppy disk version said cga, Hercules, Tandy format and EGA. Didn't notice any difference with Tandy over EGA using Dosbox staging.

Was able to try Hercules 2 color, and pcjr (looked cga) and it showed a color that was different (similating cga emulated on monochrome) tried for fun... it was an orangish, monochrome color.
used DOSBOX staging .82.2 in the [dosbox] parameter, machine=Herecules on about line 235 of the config file created.
I did not need to load a cga simulator, such as simcga, for the Hercules videocard. This must already have one built in.
