Anyone else experiencing difficulty starting the game on a Mac?

I am on an M1 Mac, Big Sur 11.6.7.

The loading screen comes up and then just sits there with some flashing rectangles in the lower right corner. Nothing else.

Very frustrating.

I’m on an M1 as well, Monterey 12.5 and it works for me. I’m using the downloaded installer, not the GOG Client. I don’t remember doing anything special to get it running other than ticking the box "Open using Rosetta" for the NORCO.app.

However, I can’t get past the drone puzzle, I finish the puzzle but the game doesn’t move on from that screen, so something is not 100%

EDIT: For others having the same problem: A part of the UI needed to proceed was covered by another part of the UI. When I changed the Dialogue Font setting "Spacing" to Standard, the needed part appears.
