Hello Games has posted the full info on the BEYOND update on their NO MANS SKY website and you can see ALL of the things the Beyond update includes (WAY to much stuff to list here...) under the updates tab.

This is one HELL of an update!!! with a TON of new (and VERY much improved) stuff.

If you were excited before - wait till you see the full update posting!!!!

It's a lot of new and cool stuff. It will definitely get me back in the game and playing for some time to come. I am particularly excited about the base building changes.

Some really cool looking stuff in that update! Looks like I'll be restarting once again... It seems to be the best way to play such an update. So,while I'll miss all my ships and hefty bank account, starting fresh with all the new options (and hopefully fewer of the bugs I was dealing with) will be worth it.

So, HG, how about pushing that update over here at GOG now? Pretty please! ;)

I can not wait for the update to drop. I have been watching Cobra TV and they are running PS4 on there and it looks great, but you know it'll look ten times better on PC. Also GOG will look better than Steam as well I am sure... May be a little bit of bias to GOG there. ;)

Downloading a 5.9gig patch started 16:40 GMT.

Just finished reading those patch notes and WOW is right. This game finally feels feature complete and ready to explore.

I just opened Galaxy 2.0 and clicked on verify/repair for NMS and it's now downloading. Hopefully that means I kick started the Beyond update... We'll see. It's a big one almost 9gb.

If everyone`s doing this, it`s gonna take a while...

Yeah, it has slowed down considerably... Looks like another hour or so at this rate... But, at least it's downloading. :)

And it's not up on Steam yet, so GOG players get it before Steamers.

Interesting. Waiting for all of the "We're not gonna get the update on GOG! Wah!!" posters to comment in 5...4...3...

Heh, that's a nice turn of the tables - we get it before Steam. Maybe it's to see how things go on a smaller platform before opening the floodgates at Steam. Whatever the reason, I'm just happy it's downloading. This looks like it'll be an amazing update and has me seriously considering trying MP and maybe...even giving VR a somewhat serious consideration. But I'd have to not only convince myself it's worth it, but more importantly, my wife... ;)

Yeah, it's an investment. I'm holding off on VR until there is enough community feedback on what setups work well, including underlying PC requirements.

Then there's the issue of what happens if I'm in VR and The Blessed Cat decides to get my attention by grabbing my ribcage. I jump high enough now -- in VR it will probably scare the coprite out of me. ;-)

That mean HOTAS support ?

not yet. they added animation funcionality for in-game hotas in cockpits, they might add it later

I completed the download and installed, but so far the game is not loading. Tried the incremental patch and game crashed out, tried uninstalling and reinstalling full game and it crashed again--don't even get to the save game screen before crashing.

Anyone else facing this issue with the Beyond update?

... anyone NOT having any issues...? This patch is a pure dumpster fire right now. I rolled back to v1.77 already, had two BSODs, unable to change controls, and a huge load of other gamebreaking stuff...

Gotta wait for the next patch as it seems, they just rushed it out the door so they could comment "FIRST!!! RELEASED IT!" or something like that, IDK why they would release in this state other than that...
