Re-downloaded it and re-installed setup_no_mans_sky_4.08_expeditions_97029_(60617).exe with bins.
Still starts up gets HelloGames logo screen then crashes.
Running windows 10 version 22H2.
Whats going on?

First thing I'd try is installing it via GOG Galaxy and, maybe, then doing a separate Manage Installation | Verify/Repair pass.

Are your graphics drivers up to date and behaving? After the logo screen may be when it switches from normal desktop graphics to the game's rendering engine.

You could check to see of it's getting as far as being able to create a crash file. Look in c:\Users\<your account>\AppData\Local\Temp for a file named NMS_crash_ and a bunch of numbers. Upload that to HG's zendesk support site and they might have some thoughts.
