The game boots up, the intro screen comes with the stars flying past. thats it for about 5 minutes, then crashes. How do get to where I can paly this game. Please help.

I guess you haven't tried to hold down 'E' button during that flight?
It should not crash just by letting it run though so sound like you may have larger issues to deal with.

Are you sure it crashed or did it just stop on the screen with the `E`?

Press and HOLD the E.

oK guys, pressing/holding E is doing nothing, Its just stars flying past over and over
