Is there a way for me to make a shortcut of NMS that launches the VR mode automatically? Like properties or launch arguments or something? Currently, the only way I've found is to open GOG and press the "Launch in VR" button, but that's a bit of a hassle. Any ideas?

I'll quote myself from here: https://www.gog.com/forum/no_mans_sky/how_to_start_in_vr_with_backup_download

If there's no shortcut named 'No Man's Sky (OpenVR)' in your startmenu, locate your NMS.exe, create a shortcut, and then add '-HmdEnable 1' to the target, so that it looks like follows:

"<YourNMSInstallationPath>\Binaries\NMS.exe" -HmdEnable 1

Then try starting the game using that shortcut.

Edit: If you have SteamVR installed, that'll work. If you don't have SteamVR you'll need to install OpenComposite available from here: https://gitlab.com/znixian/OpenOVR
