How to I sell ships that I no longer want? I know I can get rid of a ship by trading it on another one, but I have added some to my collection that I no longer want, and I don't want another ship to replace it either.

Thanks

Unfortunately, you can't. There's still no way to just outright sell one. What you can do though, is use the save editor on your game to delete the ships you don't want.
So I have to do a Google search for the Save Editor? I can't see one in the game files.

It's sad, almost crazy, that you can't sell unwanted ships. :(

I agree. Send a feature request to HG. Maybe if they get enough, they'll work on that aspect.

You're stuck with a ship slot, but not necessarily that ship.

You could swap it for another (either in trade or a crashed ship).

I like to convert crashed haulers into portable storage. Just fix up the damaged storage slots (and launch thrusters) and call them whenever you need to off-load some cargo while on a planet. Or store specific things on specific ships (like "component storage", "uncommon resources", or "tech storage") and summon them when needed.
Thanks guys.

In the end, I decided to restart the game. Now I only have two ships. The one I first started with, and the crashed ship that I found (while looking for Artimus). My plan is to trade the crashed ship, for a good ship I can get from an Alien. I currently have 8.8mil, and the crashed ship is worth 4.4mil, so with that, I hope to get a pretty good 2nd ship. The amount of effort required to fix the crashed ship will take me too long, which is why I would like to trade it for a ship that doesn't need to be repaired. And while I'm trying to get there, I continue to go out and find Ancient Bones, and Salvageable Scrap (I prefer collecting Ancient Bones as I'm less likely to get killed), to continue to increase the money needed towards the trade in.
