So I got all the drops during the recent Twitch campaign for No Man's Sky. But I can't link my GOG version with the NMS website that processes these drops onto my account for the game. Meaning I can't pick up the drops in game.
There is not selection on their website to connect GOG. Only steam, playstation and nintendo switch.
I don't know what to do. I keep checking the quicksilver vendor like it says to on their website on the off chance that the drops will magically appear but they never do.
I contacted NMS customer support about this but haven't heard anything back in almost a week.

Anyone have any advice? I'd appreciate it.

Thank you.

Posts from 2021: https://www.gog.com/forum/no_mans_sky/3xperimental_and_twitch or https://www.gog.com/forum/no_mans_sky/twitch_drops_no_mans_sky/post2.

Back when the Atlas Rises update was released (version 1.3 in August 2017) GOG users could not use the Joint Exploration (basically seeing other players as a floating bubble) and Hello Games had to help GOG because they did not have any form of multiplayer capability. It took about 6 months before Hello Games was able to help get GOG through this and then there were problems or issues with an actual version of multiplayer when NEXT (version 1.5) was released.

Bottom line is that links with Twitch for the drops is something that the individual platforms have to establish and GOG made a decision to not participate back in 2021. Maybe additional support requests submitted to GOG might get them to change their mind but linking accounts seems to run counter to DRM-free.

I was wondering the same because I couldn't claim my Twitch drops that I spent hours collecting. Apparently the GOG Version is indeed inferior...

Decided to refund it and it's proibably for the better. The game while interesting, is extremely grindy. I don't have the time for this, and the lack of Twitch integration really sealed the deal for me.
I actually submitted a "suggested feature" ticket to Hello Games requesting this.

I recommend anyone else who wants it does the same, only takes a few minutes https://hellogames.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new if they get enough requests they might consider it.
