Hello fellow interlopers! This is the Traveler's Guide to (GoG)inized Space (T.G.S.). We're reporting from our headquarters in beautiful star system [GoG-87] - Omning Lidkorjah. The weather: While there are reported some storms from Gogus Prime and Proxima - don't forget: It never ever rains on Portokali!

We'd like to announce a new column to clear somewhat the jungle of bases and places of interest in the place to be - 87-O.L.!

The T.G.S. is still searching reporters from within and outside 87-O.L. - please send in your reports about places of interest or your experiences with (GoG)inized sapce!

Welcome back to T.G.S.! Rost 'Rusty Bolt' Freyh here with a brand-new report from place to be 87-O.L.:

Well, it's hard to pick out one of all these great places around - so why not to start with something useful for travellers? The 'Hotel Goggeka'!

On a small island on Gogus Prime (see attachement No. 01) there's the lovely little Hotel Goggeka surrounded by beach. We'd strongly recommand to arrive by starship because it's somewhat off the beaten track. Therefore it has enough parking area and you are welcomed by illuminated advertisement you can't miss (see attachement No. 02).

In the entrance hall you'll immediately see that it is a very Gek-friendly place - so why not bring your own little friend with you?! (see attachment No. 03). The staff at the snack bar took a break when our reporter arrived (see attachment No. 04) but later on he prepared some delicious ordered creatures eggs.

Last but not least - the rooms: A lot of space for the tired interloper, a fridge, a minibar - what else could you ask for? There was no TV in the room but that wouldn't been half exciting as watching the other guests through the floors and ceilling out of glass!

Our reporter thinks: This is the best place in town for having a break from your trek! Have fun!

Chill out in the lush oceans of planet New Ompenza.
The base provides for a small spaceport with a teleporter right into the underwater base.
If you prefer the use of your Nomad, you can do that, too.

The viewpoint attached to the glass dome on top of the marine base points in the direction of a wonderful underwater landscape (ca 200u), seething with marine life. Heaps and stacks of blocks of stone may resemble sunken ruins.

This upload's star is the nature surrounding the base. The base itself is frugal but functional.
There are enough beds for all travellers, as long as they come alone. Breakfast is nibbling at the windows.
You can park your Nautilon in a natural cave underneath the moonpool.

Come to this dark, cloudy world and try your hand at a race track that will test your very soul.

The low gravity makes super high jumps a breeze and a lot of fun! But what if you go too high? Would you ever come back down?

Come and race on the most fun track you've ever raced on!

All exocraft geobays are provided. From the big teleporter, take the first short-range teleporter to the roof, and the second out to the race start area. Toilet provided next to the geobays.

The small (but very trustwothy) start-up E.F.E.F.F., Inc. (Everything For Everyone For Free) is searching for labourers to build a Nanite production line for lazy and/or bumbling people (like R.F.) or those with higher wastage of Nanites (like R.F.)
E.F.E.F.F., Inc. has set up (very professional) headquarters in [GoG-09] Naenti Bruni - 07FD:0083:07F3:0109 on Moon Zahha Alpha. Gold and silver ressources are both reported in the system. The T.G.S. sent a reporter to interview the CEO about the upcoming enterprise:

CEO S. Tainless in interview: "We really do need lots of silver and gold mines! And we need giant refining facilities! And WLAN... And I'd really like to move to Malig Prime ... but I ... err... have a load of work here on this desk ... and ... err .. put everything into this enterprise! So please come and build mines!"

When our reporter asked about wages for potential helping hands the CEO vanished in the washroom and didn't come out for hours. So our reporter had to leave with some open questions. But it all looked really very trustworthy.

Built as mobile experimental platforms to assist Portal Scientists, equipped with high energy beams for exciting targeted matter kept in a safety containment, two of our MEPs are pictured during firing a nightly testing shot in close proximity to the Portal on Gogus Prime. The target is visible in the expanded containment.

Tensions between the Gek and Korvax crews started rising, after one of the Gek was caught red handed while trying to pick-pocket one of the Korvax. This wasn't helped by the Gek calling the Korvax MEP a 'sterile tin can', while the Korvax refused to enter the Gek MEP, naming it a 'contagious cesspit'.

Distracted by their petty squabbles, both crews managed to lock the systems during the pictured testing shot, freezing the experiment in time.

System Authority had to evacuate both MEPs following a brawl after the crews tried to put the blame on the Vy'keen MEP captains.

Note: Parts of the base have been built in Blender. You probably need to land in order to have the beams activate and the target rendered.

Stranded for a lack of whale oil, the Sedecim was to be scrapped, after a fundraising ran by a local Gek turned out to be scam.

Scrapping failed, since the hired Korvax were unable to afford what they called 'ancient relics required for this kind of dismantling job', because Gek boomers had prices for hammers and screwdrivers explode. Rumor has it, that a Traveller leaked the tooling requirements to an invisible Gek barman, while getting hammered at Rostfreyhs beach bar.

Note: Parts of the base have been built in Blender. There's a chance to collide with parts of the structure upon lift-off, and as if that's not enough, the build is rather glitchy, and jetpacking around might end you up inside of one of the hulls. If I'm around, I can get you out, if not: Just reload, and you're good.

Scientists of S.A.G. got evidence for another ancient sundial in the star system. Following rumours they snaffled a shovel from G.A.S. and began to unearth vast temple grounds in the mountains of Proxima. Nearby a famous monastery various strange installations where found.

The S.A.G.-Mystics studied the material and even looked up wikipedia but nothing about such stuff in history or present age could be found. So the sensation is perfect: S.A.G unearthed the future!

Visit the site and take a relaxed walk in the beautiful landscape of Proxima!
