Hi.

2.09.11 promised to speed up the text rendering speed, if I click the mouse button in dialogues. I don't want that. I want it to appear immedieatly and completely.

Repeating the ever-same 'dialogues' really isn't helped by HG fumbling on such a simple, trivial and formerly perfectly working thing as not making me wait for the text to be typed out.

In a long row of other annoyances and bugs, this one is probably one of the really, really small ones. But it nicely shows, how to needlessly reintroduce mechanisms proven to be rejected by players at large a long time ago :(

Okay. Now that the steam is off, back to clickety-click :o)
I second that.

It's just so annoying. It's all fine for the first time you read that text, but after that... I'm not even looking while my character is "learning words" or having a "conversation": I'm reading the news.

I don't exchange nav. data at the spaces station anymore because that's simply infuriating. If you have collected, say, a hundred pieces of nav. data over time, that would add up to 20 minutes staring at the same 3-liners over and over again.

Ugh, is that a console thing or what.

Well said.
What bugs me a lot is the looooong tutorial you have to go through. I had to do a mini reformat of Windows and I`ve not restarted NMS because I can`t stand being forced to go through that Tutorial just to get some anti-matter!

I also don`t like Freighters and the crazy way inventories work that makes no sense at all. I know some are fine with it, but I like logic (at least some reasonable basic logic) and the inventory system logic in this game just appears to have died since they threw in Freighters.

Hehehe, I cut out a rant on inventories from my post. Presumably, HG is being haunted by those design decisions made a couple of years ago, when the game was much smaller, recipes simpler, and so on.
They revise that now, and hell breaks loose, e.g. on bases in old savegames.
They can only add, never take away (the ingredient storage accessable by the nutrients processor being an example).

But a skip-tutorial option -- that would be most kind. Just give me the recipes, and the fixed ship, grant me the quest proceedings, and off I go.
