I have encountered a new unsettling control loss while in space usually induced at the start of any kind of battle with pirates or Sentinals? You lose control of the ship and no buttons respond, the only semi control you have is with the mouse which is haywire. i managed to get down to a planet surface, only to fine that pressing "E" to land did nothing, managed to get to a space station hoping the thing would reset/fix? only to find it relaunched me back into space before i could "E" out of the ship. In other words stuck completly, no buttons working.
Restarting the game fixes everything but sooner or later it does it all over again No mods whatsoever installed Windows 7 64 bit

Also why is GOG the last to update. ive seen 2:13 out there for at least a week now? i,m on auto update etc

There are different settings in the menu for ship controls, try the second one (the one after default), it makes flying controls much easier.
Pressing E to land will only work if your ship goes slowly and is not too high.

If you use a controller, joystick or other device, make sure to calibrate it in your OS. Same with your mouse. Your issues sound like your devices are off-center.

tHANKS BUT YOU COULD NOT BE MORE WRONG. THIS IS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY SET UPS, THIS IS A GAME INDUCED GLITCH, WHICH SEEMS TO BE TRIGGERED BY ANY SPACE CONFLICTS OR BATTLES, PARTICULARLY WHEN WARPING INTO A BATTLE.

Give as much detail about your setup as possible, DXDiag report, Vulkan report, and controller in use.
If yours is an unusual setup and you dont report it, chances it will get fixed are low.

2.13 is still in beta and has not been released to general public yet (for PC anyway, but I cant imagine its been released to any other platform yet, it usually gets beta tested on PC first)

I've experienced the "land and immediately take off" phenomenom in past versions when the joystick throttle wasn't reset to zero before landing.

It may be that either you have an additional controller attached or one of your control key mappings is keeping the ship forward thrust engaged.
