Will the GOG version be interacting with the same servers as the steam version?

Not that's been publicly released. It's possible that all versions, including the PS4, connect to the same server. No one from Sony or Hello Games has confirmed or denied this AFAIK, and the NMS subreddit doesn't seem to know for sure either. Given the way the Atlas is supposed to work, it even seems likely that all versions connect to the same server.

In fact hello games made it possible but they are not sure they will connect all platform on same universe.
They said in interview they built it so they can and wait to take the decision later
depending on players will.

PC versions is only one version
steam version is the same as the Gog or every others version
they will be on the same universe.

I was curious to see if this DRM Free version still allowed for the "joinable lobby" system of multiplayer meetups that Sean Murray has talked about? (dont talk about how likely or unlikely it is, i dont care).
