Shadowcaster787: I have come across a rare situation where space stations don't have npc's, I'm not sure if this is random or a bug. I have also come across a situation where your mining laser can't cut containers and you have to swap to your weapon. But in most normal situations you are able to use both as if there's very little difference between a mining laser and a weapon.
I came across a station with no one on it. I believe it`s legit. Just like in reality, some places aren`t staffed all the time for various reasons. Adds a little surprise, but then you realise it don`t matter since everything`s automated anyway.
