When I try to transfer material from freighter inventory to ship inventory, game removing my exosuit upgrades and installing them to spaceship inventory. Freighter's slots remains full. Is it a known bug?

I lost my suits Jetpack and Hazard slot items to my spaceship as well, I do believe the new patch is intended to prevent that from happening, however from what I have read players that have items already swapped over to ship are out of luck until HelloGames finds a fix for it.

The only way I was able to fix my issue was to find another ship and take that as my new ship, was a pain but I managed to free up two slots in my ship and do not have to wait till a fix is found, if they can indeed find a fix for it.

I have not found that with Freighters but if you build a storage unit at home base it can do that too. I did find that if I exit the game and get back in that everything is back to normal....

I've read a mention on Steam or Reddit yesterday saying the building features on freighters are buggy at the moment, one should wait for the next patch. This contradicts what I see on Youtube where videos are showing that you can build on freighters, so: I don't know what to believe. I haven't reached freighters yet, too expensive for me anyway and else they are useless (you can only speak to captain or trade with landing ships).

As a workaround I think you can transfer all the items used when building by claiming a new home planet and start building a new base, it's complicated but at least you get all your ressources back (but if yours was a bug then even this may not work).

We have to run all the way to cockpit and talk to the freighter pilot. Another timesink nerf. Which makes me laugh, in low orbit, they could parachute it down to our base inventory. Perfectly logical, but...

Yes, it must be a bug. I've noticed that it happens when I'm transferring from my vault and there's not enough room in the exosuit for the full transfer.

When you see exosuit upgrades being moved to your spaceship, you are royally screwed if you continue. Immediately exit the game and restart it -- it will restart from the last saved position.
