Patched to the Prism update a few days ago. There was a new patch that was downloaded today. I can no longer launch the game. Receiving a ton of errors; attached to this thread. The game was just working before the patch. Anyone else having this issue?

UPDATE: Reinstalled the game and wipe video drivers with DDU (safe mode) and then reinstalled 466.47 (May 18, 2021) as the 466.63 (Jun 3, 2021) drivers are causing crashes and BBOD universally (see nvidia's community forums).

Just in case:
1. Running any mods? Mods may not be compatible with any update or patch.
2. Did you try to verify the installation? Click on the Settings button next to Play in Galaxy (with NMS selected), then click on Manage Installation and then click on the Verify/Repair.
3. Any graphics driver changers? May need to roll back.
4. Another possible fix if the simpler ones do not work would be to navigate to >No Man's Sky\Binaries\SETTINGS and delete the TKGRAPHICSSETTINGS.mxml file. You may need to verify the installation afterwards although that file should rebuild. You can also first copy that file to a safe place if that is a concern for you.

Good Luck
Prisms is a hell for the graphic cards. The error messages point out this in my opinion.

Especially if you have a NVIDIA Card, may be a good way to erase your graphic drivers with a wipe tool from NVIDIA, so available, and install the newest drivers. Eventually your card will something manage with the new DRSS-Feature thing.

A word to the TKGRAPHICSSETTINGS.mxml

NMS now overwrite a changed file anytime on start with the defaults. If personally changes should persistent, the file must be set on write-only.

Nope but it looks like there is something wrong with the Vulkan API installation on your machine.

And seeing as the latest updates to the game need the most recent Graphics drivers ..

.. Have a go at doing a clean install of them.

Dont know if you have NVidia or AMD but a clean install should refresh the Vulkan files which the graphics drivers also install.

I want to share that I'm running an NVIDIA card | 3090. I completely reinstalled the game and video drivers with DDU and finally got the game working.
