hello, when i start a new game / new save , i dont get the pre order ship , anyone else have this prob ?
does anyone know how to fix this ?

If you're using Galaxy, on the NMS page go to More -> Setup -> Configure Game and verify that the DLC (downloadable content) box is checked.

Once in the game, Escape to the options screen and go to General Options -> Redeem bonus content. Follow the prompts from there.

You will always start out a new game with the basic, default ship. When you choose to redeem the pre-order ship, it shows up nearby (if I recall correctly) and you then go through the process of switching your current ship's content over to the new one, similar to how you would proceed when buying a new ship or salvaging a crashed one.

Note that you CAN swap back and forth between the two ships. You may want to do that after you have moved saved material to the new ship and then need to go back to the old ship to disassemble some of the crafted components to recover a portion of the material used in crafting. You can't disassemble components on the screen where you transfer between the two ships. Transfer, swap to the new ship, swap back to the old ship and disassemble components, transfer stuff to the new ship, and then do a final swap to the new ship. (You can do that process more than once, if needed.)
