Hi there.
Anyone else finding the forced forward thrust imposed on ships in planetary atmospheres to be rather enerving ?
I've just, for the umpteemth time, been hammered into a structure upon lift-off, and am now glued to it due to the inability to apply backward thrust.
I'll eventually escape, and the ships shiels don't seem to suffer from these colssions -- alas, this is a behaviour players have been asking to be changed for a very long time now.
I fail to see, how taking away a (neg / equal force driven) degree of movement adds to immersion or challenge. Especially, if the game itself seems to struggle with the consequences of that.
