There have been two Experimental patches this week culminating in a 2.33_livingship_57941 release. Two of the changes were not listed in the Experimental notes with the last one being the important issue. The big thing is that they are finally doing something about the problems with idiots blocking locations for things like the weekend missions.

I copied the patch notes from the No Man's Sky webpage https://www.nomanssky.com/2020/03/living-ship-patch-2-33/

Patch Notes
•Enable tessellation on Xbox One X.
•Introduced partial fix for an issue that could cause players to fall through the terrain.
•Fixed an issue for PC players who lost their Void Egg during the final stages of the Starbirth mission and were not able to recover it.
Fix to prevent base parts from spawning around weekend mission objectives. [emphasis mine]

Disconnecting from the Internet after accepting one of the weekend events does help reduce some of the problems with the asinine communications balls and bases but needs to be done before teleporting. Although reporting offensive renaming of planets has had success the offensive messages have no reporting methodology not to mention that these can block not only the view but make it difficult to locate key locations.
There were still nuisance bases around the objective, one was directly above it, and I did have network disabled. I give up, I won't bother with any more weekend events.
Same, I dont have any of the network options enabled, but there was still a base hanging above the grave ..

.. I guess Hellogames didn't account for vertically placed bases with that fix :)

Joking asside, the bases and comms balls etc in weekend missions are a PITA, I suppose there must be some technical reason GOG players using GOG Galaxy but with all network options disabled still see them.
I just completed the WE, in network mode, before allowing the update, and there were no mess. boxes (as I call them), and only Viky's base. Smooth.
I see these Viky's bases all over. This dude really sucks and should get a clue. I report all of them.
I'm confused. I thought HG features bases they think are interesting with their WE missions. To me, it seems rather unlikely that anybody could glitch-build bases like that in an hour or two right after HG having launched their WE mission.
Anyway, functionally Viky's bases don't hinder the WE missions, at least for me.

I've seen it discussed somewhere (Reddit?) that the huge, complex base builds on the event planets are created off-line using Blender or a similar editor. As I understand it, the player would get to the event planet, drop a base computer, and exit the game. Then the save editor would be used to insert the off-line base into their save file. They would load the save and *poof* there's the base.

A related issue is how certain players are consistently able to be the first ones to enter the event system and discover / name the system and planets. Probably some work with the save editor to shortcut having to visit the Nexus and then find three Knowledge Stones. Have the right bits set when the event launches, load a save that's at a portal, and you're there. Save, exit, reset the Portal Interference bit and no further restrictions apply.
If only the narcissists would channel their efforts into something worthwhile rather than feeding their over inflated egos and ruining the game for others.

Ok, now I get it. Thank you for the info. This weekend we'have a "Viky . xD" system. **sigh**
(!)

Steam Users talk about freezing game in anomaly by playing with multiplayer modus since this weekend. (perhaps a bug with the new weekend event, but this is only by flying in the anomaly too, I had this with my steam account this morning).

So - be careful and wait for a bugfix. (and make a save of your save game! )
