I don't know if I my discoveries are actually being registered or not. The circle is always staying half full while saying "Connection to Online Discovery Services" and nothing else. Using Windows 11 and GOG Galaxy. Thought it was a security setting or something but nothing I try works. It just does the same thing that I described over and over. Tried waiting like some forums suggested from 2022 but that doesn't work either. Any type of suggestions are helpful. Thanks!

My suggestion is anything but helpful but there really is nothing that we can do. The never-ending blue circle of Connecting to Online Discovery Services is something that I have never seen before and may indicate that only a portion of their discovery servers may be down. I have experienced short durations of connecting but that typically lasts only a few seconds.

I say a portion of the discovery servers as I experienced weird behavior earlier today. Normally with no connection everything is new and undiscovered. Instead, today showed systems and planets as not having been discovered but after scanning fauna the status of the scanned fauna showed previously discovered and the system was not one that appears in the teleport list. Normally it is everything is undiscovered until connection to discovery servers is re-established.
From a quick survey of Steam's forum seems like Hello Games is currently struggling with some problems on their end with back-end servers.
Quicksilver mission are missing and matchmaking doesn't seem to work, I think the deployment of the new cross-save feature may be the root of the problem but it's just a guess.

Unfortunately the only solution is to wait for a fix from the developer.
I noticed yesterday that the anomaly was empty. Only after visiting a few planets did I realize that I was not connected to the servers. What a shame.
Отсутствует подключение к серверам, это что то новое...
Yesterday and today are the first time i am seeing that red error message when i go to the network menu in NMS. Nexus has no ships, and i am playing abandoned mode, and you can normally see others ships in that mode and players names still. Hope the fix is soon on their end.
I think things are clearing up. I also had a red circle at first today, but I saw other players in the anomaly. After a few minutes I also got the green light from the discovery service.
