I've been looking through the forums to find a release time on 8/12/16 for NMS on the east coast EST. I haven't found anything. I've never used GoG before so I was wondering what time games typically release.

Release time tends to vary--sometimes as early as 7am EST, sometimes as late as 10 or 11. GOG seems to stagger release and sale announcements over (for us in the US) the morning. If I had to take a guess, given the major hype for this game, I would say it's gonna be the headline, 1st release of the day. But that's just a guess. If you're eager, check first thing at 7am and then every hour! I admit, I'll probably be doing the same :)

Damn.. they pushed the date back another 2 or 3 days..

PC release date has been the 12th for a while now.

Although going by gogs countdown timer it's 6pm UK time so will end up being the 13th for some folks.

if you go here, you can type your current time, how much ahead you want the target to be and it will tell you exactly.

If you ensure the left hand side you have "add time" so you can click on the "NOW" button for your current local time.

This will then tell you exactly what time/date your local time the release will be :)
