ok, i like all of you, waited and waited for the update.

played a few hours, got a 20 slot multitool even and got a few planets in

now i try to load my save after logging off, and it starts me at the beginning..

suggestions? cloud based saves now supposedly, so i cant even find any on my harddrive.

WTF?

Did you start a complete new game or carry on from an old save?

I ask as i've seen crashing reports from those using an old save (on PC and P34 so far), but they had no issues from a clean new game start.

i had the Same Issue Yesterday. I deleted my Old Save, made a new Game and did a bit of Things. Then got into my Ship, Automatically saved and the next time i started the game, only my old pre 1.5 Save was avaliable.

A Temp Fix seem to turn off the "Cloud Saving" in the "Settings", because its seems to not Upload your new Savegame sometimes when you quit the Game

I have the same issue so frustrating. I worked out that I needed to start my game from the Galaxy client and not from the desktop Icon, that fixed it for me.
