Socratatus: Well great that it makes sense for you, but I`ve been around too long and seen you people (who aren`t Devs) talk EXACTLY like this, as if you know, then a month later, you turn out completely wrong

im not making a claim...just floating a theory.

but...you really dont think that it follows that if the game auto retrieves your info from your steam/gog account and gives you that name...that changing names in offline mode could cause problems later when you connect to the servers?

theres no chance at all that it could cause issues with the servers and discovery tracking to let people just change their names all willy nilly like?
