I hit start on gog galaxy, the play button grays out for a moment then comes back to green. also tried running as administrator. It just won't even launch. No errors, nothing.

Edit: Problem fixed. Friend walked me through the fix.

Glad you were able to fix it. Would you share the steps taken ? Others might right now as well run into just the same hickup that blocked you from starting the game.
