I have very good news for players who want easier base-building: I will soon release a mod that will find Base Computers on planets by using the Cartographer. Such places on planets will have a very large flat terrain, ideal for beginners in base-building to create most things without frustrations like your base buried in the ground or other glitches.
My final testing and mod adaptation is in the works. The mod will be named Easy Base-Building, probably available on Nexus mods and NoManskymods.

Clever! Although I love finding the base computers in the wild on my own, I'm sure a lot of people will love this mod. Nice work.

Nice. I haven't had this game very long, but I have not yet found a base computer on a planet, let alone a nice large flat area, like those given in a "Creative" mode game. Thanks. I look forward to it's release.
