No matter what I do I cannot get NMS to recognize controller input when launching the game from either Lutris or Heroic Games Launcher.

I realize that I can run the Game through Steam to solve this problem using the Steam runtime mappings, but I don't want to have to do that. I'm also confused since it is advertised in the store as having controller support and it's really odd that it simply isn't working.

Has anyone else experienced this? Am I potentially doing something wrong? I don't have this issue with any other title.
