does anyone know how to launch this game in VR if you're using galaxy 2.0? the instructions on the support site don't seem to work for the newer version of the client. i've tried opening a ticket as well but have yet to hear back after a few days, so i'm hoping someone here has had a little luck.

for anyone who may be wondering in the future, i heard back from support and there's a shortcut in the start menu folder with a "-HmdEnable 1" switch (no actual quotes) in the Target options. this works for launching VR.

Hi, I have forgotten how to set this in the Target line....in the desktop Icons properties for GOG Galaxy

Currently

Do I tack that onto the end?? like this??

You are searching in wrong place. You don't have to launch galaxy with -HmdEnable, you have to launch the game itself with it. There was a way to add custom arguments (and a way to launch non-default game modes) in galaxy 1.x. But they didn't implement it yet in 2.0 so you have to do some slight hacking to get it working:
- open file goggame-1446213994.info in notepad (in NMS folder)
- find text "isPrimary": true, change true to false
- find the NEXT "isPrimary": false and change the value to true
- restart galaxy

If done correctly, NMS will now launch in VR mode. You'll have to repeat it after each game update
