I discovered the real problem with the Fractal update..... it's ruined many of my bases in my long term game! The landscape has changed so I'm finding some of my bases are hovering above the ground or buried. In one case my base was embedded in a cliff and the portal that was there is now missing. The really annoying part is the nitrogen gas mine was still there but the portal is now on the other side of the planet. Seems that resource mines still exist were they were but groups of plants (mutant plants, groups of O2 or sodium plants etc). don't. I had 4 bases with curious deposits - one has now only got 3 balls, another has none anymore but the other 2 (both in Euclid) are fine. I have portal bases in 205 galaxies so far plus a handful of other bases - that's a lot of work I need to do just to check them all let alone repair them. At least my big celebratory 100th Galaxy base is still ok - phewww!! - put a lot of work into that one. Feeling pretty cranky about it all.
