I don't have a screenshot handy, but I love the look of my ship. It's by far my favorite among all the ships I've seen in-game and online... but it only has 16 slots.

I wish we could upgrade ships to have more slots. Maybe a million units per slot? Once per space station? That'd be fine with me. I just don't want to trade for an ugly ship with more slots. :|

I'm thinking about using this editor to attempt to give my ship 48 slots unless Hello Games announces that ship upgrades are coming soon...
Well you could retrade until you get the same ship again with more slots. It will take time, but safer than messing with the files.

There are over 1300 ships. It might be a very long time before I'd chance across another like this one. But now I know about seeds, so I don't need to worry about it. :)

You can simply note down the seed of your current ship with the NMS Save Editor and apply it to whatever junker you might have picked up as an upgrade. Just make sure you adjust the classes accordingly, as the same seed will produce a vastly different ship if used in another category.
Same applies for any multi-tool skin you might have gotten attached to.

Just avoid using the editor to add crafting recipes, as it'll order them alphabetically. Makes cooking up warp fuel a bit of a hassle.
