I didn't find how to recharge my exosuit shield. i know that it recovers slowly when taking no damage but is there any way to recharge it with a ressource (for example if shield is down in combat ?)

I was in trouble with wanted level 5 => 5 sentinel drones and 2 AT-ST. I finally managed to destroy them but I spent some times, hidden behind a rock, to find how to recharge my shield without results.

Plutonium or Carbon.
Zinc, or Titanium, for your heat, cold, toxic, and radioactive shielding. Also iron if you have the blueprints to make the shield repair.

Right, because it's approximately... a lot of times >_> more efficient to produce shield restores from iron.

But not completely sure it's possible to recharge the personal shield level during combat, even if you boost the hazard suit protection bar. Didn't check to see, but It's more like.. you instantly start the auto-repair if you recharge the shield out of combat. Maybe.

So try to fit in a personal shield upgrade. One of the more useful upgrades you can get, once you start trying to pilfer gravitron orbs, and so on.

I already have updraded my shield in fact (Sigma Tau and Theta level)

But I think I miss the shield repair because I only have blueprints for environmental threats... Strange because I have a lot of blueprints but maybe this one is missing. Maybe I will find it during my journey.

It is what I am thinking, there is no way to repair the shield but there is some plants that do this (but same for me, I always find them when I'm 100%).

No problem. It just sucks that you only have that one chance to survive an encounter with Sentinels. They've been pretty easy so far but I hear they get more tough later on.
