I've looked online no one actually answers how to actually feed them. I can collect things and drop things I've looked in the options and controls but I don't see anything about feeding or giving anyone/anything, anything so without that I cannot figure out how to feed anything. I tried all sorts of things last night on a creature that should eat what I was trying to find a way to give it but I'm not doing something right

Get close enough to an animal that can be feed and there will be a button prompt like the one you get on NPCs that suggests you feed the animal, and shows what item you need to feed them. If you have it, hold the key and you'll feed the animal.

If you're using an xbox controller, it's the X button. Not sure what the keyboard key is. E maybe? The prompt will say.

Thank you The PC uses the INTERACT KEY ( E ) BY DEFAULT, ( I use another key, one easier for me to use) I've fed 2 so far for fun.. Thank you for the quick response :)

When you've fed an animal, it'll be friendly towards you, and occasionally draw your attention to resources (that I believe it just pooped out). A magnifying glass icon will pop up over the animal and it'll be standing still. If you go over to it, there may be a nugget of something on the ground you can pick up.

The fed and befriended animal will follow you for some time. If the animal points to a resource and his happy face turns to sad face that means he wants to eat again :)
When you feed them at least 2 or 3 times, they sit and act as a doggie would do, waiting for you to grat his belly XD
They will even approach and jump happily around you. When big animals or weird ones do that, it's really funny.

I always thought it pooped a resource cos I never saw the resource there before. It`s also roundy... I thought, `Hmm, pooped resource, oh well long as it works!`
