Looks like a yr has passed. What you might be asking, were you doing Birdb, on Calypso, all by yourself, offline in NMS?

Well, let me tell ya. I picked up an S Hauler last night, from a Korvax. It comes with a side mounted gun mount next to cockpit window, looks a lil bit like a long narrow Millenium Falcon with that protrusion off to the one side. I go about testing rockets, etc.. to see which type of wpn shoots out this protrusion, aiming at circle on a blackhole. Fired large rockets into it, in the hopes of my onboard Science guy, learning Photon Torpedos. A guy can dream. Well thats when a, not so bright idea, came to me.

Birdb, I said. Call your Capital Ship overto the mouth of this blackhole thats been swallowing your rockets. So, I did. Hey it parks right in nice, a bug in a hug, so much so that these trailing freighters are, literally sitting on the event horizon.

Having tried to fall off a freighter onto a planet, not so long ago, and losing my inventory. No grave marker. Guess what I tried to fall onto?

Yup. Black Hole. And that was the end of my Photon Torpedo research and three hundred and sixty fifth hour in Normal mode.

Congratulations to the new S class :)

Lovely idea with jumping/falling into a black hole even if it did not worked out :D
