vl4do77: Any hints how to avoid or minimize the stutter? I´ve tried everything from lowest to highest settings nothing helps.
I run it on i5 2300, GTX970, 8GB. I would like to continue to play but these FPS drops are immersion breaking.
Turn off mouse smoothing? It seems odd and may be unique to my setup but it runs much better without that turned on.
The search function on the GoG forums is, shall we say, not optimized but run a search on the term
anisotropic. You may need to navigate to the forum via a web browser to www.gog.com in order for search to work (see: not optimized). Anyway, that should return a post by ThorChild from April 2017 subject "Pathfinder performance issues." There he (?) lists some settings for the in-game graphics options and settings in the nvidia control panel. Try those for a baseline and see if you get any improvement.
