elghinnfaer: Sadly no, not to my knowledge. If such a world did exist I am sure HelloGames would have posted the location for one of the many programs used to jump/teleport star systems. If one did exist I too would very much like to see it.
I have not been back to these forums for quite a while, came here in hopes to see a new patch or more content (Maybe some of the stuff that was shown in trailers) but sadly not.
More then not it seems the trailer for No Man's Sky was made to set the hooks in peoples mouths and had little to do with reality.
Hi Elghinnfaer,
welcome back to the forum, any entries here are welcome to contrast the NMS forum on Steam which is full of trolls at the moment who are ranting that the game is still alive...
I think NMS is not in the best state currently, but the Foundation Update has added a lot of things and I'm having fun with it.
From the time I posted the above, I have gathered some infos and it appears that just before the first release, the developpers have changed the procedural generation of environments and taken out features that (that's my guess) didn't work as intended, but they didn't change the trailers to adapt to the actual release, an error that have turned some players to be very angry... Also I now understand that these trailers you see on Steam (or on Youtube older than 1 year) are test builds used by Sean to present the game, but they didn't make it in-game because of the changes. I think dinosaurs (and other creatures) cannot be larger than 6-7 meters, because the game would have seious animation problems with bigger creatures, just an idea...
Cheers,
XenonS
