Problem: the Korvax at the mission board doesn't give me any missions.

EDIT: Oooh, it got better. In the Artemis quest line, I went to some dude to get help identifying where Artemis is (his stars sketch, remember). But got "You have to improve your Korvax standing first". Which leads me to… the fuckin' mission board! Which is still "No, I don't like you". At least I think that's why he's saying.

I've gotten several missions with the Gek already, from a station. IDK if you need a better standing or something...?

Apparently, you somehow can get them stuck in the "I don't want to talk with you" state if you talk to them while in the "right" quest. And it also appears they stay in that state forever. Sweet.

Another way to improve your standing with the Korvax is by giving them gifts and researching abandoned buildings. I was collecting nanites and data from experiments (the "floating rat" in a jar thing on the wall) and I received a boost to my standing.
