Any news as to when the multiplayer will be coming to gog version?

Radio silence everywhere. I hope it's before the end of the year, but I am not holding my breath.

Yeah, they said at the end of the year. I admit, I don't miss mp as much as I did when NEXT was released, but I think it would be unethical if we never get mp despite having paid the full price like the STEAM users. People paid for the whole experience. What irked me the most back then was not the fact that we were getting mp late, if ever, but the fact that we were left in the dark about this matter intentionally until the last minute. That was a low blow.

And meanwhile they're still pumping out content while we're still waiting on multiplayer working here. Though at least it's free content, far as I know.

I'm not going to say that they've not done a lot to improve the game and make it closer to the originally promised game, but now that there is, in fact, working multiplayer for everyone but us here, it's more than a little annoying.

Could use a bit more news from someone about that, hopefully along the lines of an honest "we're working on it, here's when we might get it out to you" message.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons why I don't miss mp as much as before because I'm actually extremely pleased on how HG have conducted themselves after NEXT. I'm grateful actually. Their constant updates and, for the most part, their communication, has been the best it has ever been. I don't know how difficult it is to implement mp in GOG but HG sure has been very quiet on this matter amidst their ongoing communication but, then again, their "promise" still is on schedule. We'll see what happens. Right now I'm just excited about The Abyss.

Don't hold your breath. We'll be lucky if NMS stays up on GOG for sale at this rate (politics stuff), so i don't see Hello Games lead transgender coder being too keen to sweat over the extra work currently.
