Pengwen: I still have my original multi-tool. I've rejected three better ones because they didn't have the Analysis Visor, and as far as I know I can't make one myself. I checked a "let's play" and *that* player found one with it. Am I overlooking something or am I just unlucky?

Socratatus: I`m pretty certain you can make your own analysis visor. I know I disabled mine by accident and when I realised I found the parts and made it back up again.

chaosWyrM: come to think of it...that may very well be right. now i dont remember if i really needed a blueprint or if i just didnt know i could already make it.

tysim: It needs a blue print. If you do not have the blue print, it seems that the first time you do an analyze tech thing without the visor, you get the visor blueprint (if you did not have it) That is what happened to me, and a few others that I talk to.
My suggestion. Save the game, swap tools, go to one of those tech gizmos and see if blueprint shows up. If not, reload from save.
