Every time I try to use the galaxy map (star ship and freighter) it works for a few seconds, but crashes to desktop after a few seconds - typically after I deselect my current location.

This did not happen with NMS Next 1.77 ever.

I have seen only one person (on YouTube) mention this bug and nothing else. It's obviously a game breaking bug from my point of view. Tried reloading saved games as well - no difference, still crashes.

Anyone have any info on this ?

After playing out some more of a story thread and I was able to warp to a new system using the galaxy map. So the crashes seem to be related to not having completed some part of the story (although I'd warped before the crashes happened).

P.S. Overall I like what they've done in Beyond, although the change in glass value was too extreme and the capacity of stacks in Normal mode is also too extreme - part of the challenge is having limitations, after all. The power production changes seem OK - not as bad IMO as some people made out. Much more to like with the update than to dislike (if I could actually make a hyperjump).
